I asked myself why the theme while battling Terapagos was so familiar. I asked myself "is it a reference from another game?" Then I realized it's actually just the Tera Raid theme 😭

Would've been awesome if instead of Koraidon/Miraidon, Ogerpon saves Kieran from Terapagos if it's in your party. Would've been full circle with the Teal Mask + Indigo Disk.

This guy went SO HARD - Easily hardest boss battle in Pokemon overall. I only won against his Giratina thanks to a lucky frostbite - hex combo.

This was the first Elite Four to legitimately kick my ass, no matter how overleveled I was. Having to form an actual strategy in order to even approach them was... satisfying. Exciting, even. Like I had been missing something all these years.

Fun fact: if you hear enough into the Team Star Grunt theme, you’ll hear Terapagos’s theme. You first fight the Team Star Grunts right after you learn…to Terastallize. Thought it was a fun detail.
